Reading a certificate of analysis

Purity, identity, endotoxin, sterility. What each test means, what a real one looks like, and what the numbers do and do not tell you.

A certificate of analysis, or COA, is a lab report for one batch of one compound. A vendor who cannot show you one has not tested the batch. A vendor who shows you one that does not say what you think it says is more common, and this lesson is about telling the difference.
